We can pre-empt a bunker stem by performing a full BIS survey to establish the actual ROB onboard and be best placed to deal with any discrepancies that can and do arise.

Monitoring of bunker consumption through regular BIS accounting can add to optimizing a ships performance, thus voyage returns. Analysis of actual ROB data over a period of time allows enhanced evaluation on fuel usage and efficiency.
